What is going on? The times they are a changin’. Friday night. I am listening to my favourite Leonard Cohen album “Live in London” having just finished reading “What the Puck: Game 5 loss a bitter pill to swallow for Habs fans” by Montreal Gazette writer Brendan Kelly. And I watched the Habs in game 5 last night. What is going on? Hahahaha.

When I texted my daughter after the loss last night, she responded “You watched a hockey game?”

I haven’t really paid any attention to hockey for decades although I have always been a Habs fan, being a Montrealer born. It is in our blood after all.

I remember travelling, as a kid, to Montreal from Brockville, Ontario to watch Habs games with Dad.

Unlike me, my daughter Seymour is steeped in Habs lore and can discuss with deep passion and knowledge the ins and outs of the Habs.

Although the Habs lost in game 5 the loss has not dampened my spirits. After all I have decades to catch up on. And there are many more Stanley Cup wins in the future. Game 6 tomorrow night.

Go Habs Go!
